Mother’s day
“I can’t deny that the reason I got into drumming was because of my dad, who grew up playing drums his whole life. However, I can fully admit that I was always a mama’s girl while growing up (and still am). My mom and I have always been extremely close, and even to this day most people ask us if we’re sisters instead of mother and daughter. I always wanted to make my mom proud, whether it was in school, sports, or music. She always supported every decision I made, including my decision to leave behind soccer scholarships in order to pursue my music career, about which I was most passionate. Without her constant support, I don’t think I would have had the courage myself to follow the path that led me to where I am today.”
